About this ride

• Start at the junction of Ferry Road and Tidal View Road by the Ferrymead Bridge Follow north-west to the junction with Humphries Drive
• Cross the road and pick up the cycle lane on Humphries Drive When travelling in the other direction there is a short path that gives more direct access to Tidal View Road
• This has a 70 kph speed limit and the cycle lane are quite narrow at first
• Follow Humphries Drive and pass the Dyers Road intersection
• Choose to take the quieter route 18 (Ferrymead to City)
• Follow the cycle lane to Eastgate Mall
• At the end of Linwood Avenue turn right onto Avonside Drive, which leads to Kilmore Street
• Follow Kilmore Street
• Arrive at the city centre.
