QEII Drive

About this ride

• Start at the junction of Main North Road and QEII Drive
• Follow the cycle path along QEII Drive, Travis Road and Anzac Drive to the Anzac bridge over the Avon
• Join route 7 (Avon River route)

Alternatively

• Follow the path east on the right hand side of QEII Drive
• Take care crossing the intersections at Winters Road and Phillpotts Road
• Extreme care is needed at the Marshlands Road crossing and the roundabout carries fast, busy traffic
• Cross Burwood Road and then cross to the left over Travis Road
• The path is now on the left
• Use crossing islands if necessary
• Follow the path down Travis Road and past the Travis Swamp
• Use the crossing facilities just before the roundabout to cross Travis Road
• Join the path that follows the right side of Anzac Drive
• Join cycle paths on both sides of the Avon River using a cycle crossing or a "clover leaf" and underpass system at the roundabout just before the Anzac Bridge
